Shannonville Motorsport Park

Shannonville Motorsport Park, established in 1974, is a historic Canadian motorsport facility known as "The Birthplace of Champions." Located in Canada, the park offers a diverse range of on-track activities for both motorcycle and car enthusiasts. Its facilities include a 4.03km Long Track that can be utilized in four different configurations, a drag strip, and a skidpad. Shannonville hosts various lapping events, including Motorcycle Track Days, Motion Monday, and Two-Wheel Tuesday evening lapping sessions, alongside dedicated drifting events and drag racing competitions such as Armdrop, TestN' Tune, and Shannonville Drags.

The park caters to a wide spectrum of skill levels, from aspiring racers and enthusiasts to seasoned competitors seeking to refine their abilities. Coaching and instruction are central to their offerings, primarily through the Shannonville Racing Academy, which teaches the fundamentals of racing in a professional environment. Additionally, Motorcycle Racing Schools like the FAST RIDING SCHOOL are available to help riders improve their skills. Shannonville Motorsport Park is also a venue for major motorsports events, including the Bridgestone Canadian Superbike Championship, Enduro Elite, RACE MOTO SMP Cup, and events for VARAC and VRRA – Vintage Road Racing Association.

What distinguishes Shannonville Motorsport Park is its rich heritage and role in developing championship-level talent, with many competitors like Jacques Villeneuve having honed their skills there. Originally built by motorcycle and racing enthusiast John Nelson to organize motorcycle racing events, the park celebrated its 50th Anniversary in 2024. Its "Mix & Match" events offer a unique opportunity for participants to lap their car on the Nelson track and then test its speed on the drag strip. The park also provides additional services such as helmet rentals and accepts spectators with camping options during major events.
