MSR Houston

MSR Houston is a premier motorsports facility located in Angleton, TX, approximately 35 miles south of Downtown Houston. Opened in December 2005, it operates as a membership-based venue for auto and racing enthusiasts, open 363 days a year. The facility features a 2.38-mile road track with 17 turns, 40 feet wide, designed to offer a balance of slow, medium, and high-speed corners. Additionally, it includes a 0.7-mile, 17-turn karting track. MSR Houston offers services such as track rental, hosts corporate events, and provides amenities like villas and garages.

The organization caters to a wide range of drivers, from those focused on safety education to competitive racers. Its instructional offerings include a Racing School, private instruction, teen driving safety courses, corporate safety programs, and specialized training for law enforcement. While MSR Houston is a host venue for various amateur racing and track day organizations, including the Central Motorcycle Roadracing Association (CMRA) and RIDE SMART for motorcycles, it also boasts a history as a sanctioned test site for professional series such as the Champ Car World Series, Atlantic Championship, and Formula BMW Series. High-profile teams from IndyCar, Indy Lights, and Daytona Prototype have utilized the track for private testing sessions, underscoring its distinctive capabilities and facilities.
