About

The American Historic Racing Motorcycle Association (AHRMA) is a 501(c)4 not-for-profit organization dedicated to "Keeping the Past Fast." As the largest vintage racing organization in North America and one of the biggest worldwide, AHRMA offers national and regional competition across a wide array of disciplines. These include Vintage Road Racing, Modern Road Racing, Sidecar Racing, Vintage Motocross, Post Vintage Motocross, Next Gen Motocross, Observed Trials, Cross Country, Dirt Track, and Flat Track. AHRMA's events showcase machines spanning a full century, from the 1920s to the 2020s, allowing for the competition of classic and true vintage motorcycles alongside a range of modern bikes.

AHRMA caters to a broad spectrum of rider skill levels, actively supporting new racers through its instructional programs. The AHRMA Academy of Roadracing (AAR) provides aspiring racers with skilled instruction to learn racing techniques and qualify to race. Similarly, the AAR Sidecar Racing School (SRS) offers specialized training, enabling participants to pass the class and qualify for weekend racing. AHRMA's extensive schedule typically includes at least 15 national-championship rounds in each competition discipline. Events are held across various U.S. regions, including Great Lakes, Heartland, Mid-Atlantic, Northeast, Northwest, Rocky Mountain, Southcentral, Southeast, and Southwest. Iconic road racing venues such as Road America, Daytona International Speedway, WeatherTech Raceway Laguna Seca, New Jersey Motorsports Park, and Barber Motorsports Park are frequently featured on their calendar.
